Anna Zekria is a photography producer, curator and educator. 

She is a co-founder of Moscow-based Salt Images agency and has been promoting visual storytellers for the last 17 years, bringing numerous projects and authors to worldwide recognition. 

She was the director of Photographer.ru agency representing photojournalists worldwide and international agencies including Magnum Photos. Zekria has collaborated with Screen Projects (USA), developing visual projects across platforms. 

She has curated a number of exhibitions and projects including ‘Stories of Life: the best of multimedia journalism’ (Moscow), ‘Come and See, Russian Contemporary photography showcase’ (Dali, China). 

She was a media projects director of Objective Reality Foundation that provided free mentoring for emerging photographers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asia and Eastern part of Europe pioneering mix of online and offline education. She produced a six-month workshop for emerging photographers from Russia and Poland (taught by Rafal Milach) and multimedia production workshop in Moscow taught by the leading international industry experts.

Zekria has collaborated with Schilt Publishing and gallery (Amsterdam) on various book projects and exhibitions. She worked with numerous international publications, such as New York Times, BBC, La Republica and many others as a producer and fixer.  

She served as a nominator and jury member for numerous international competitions, including World Press Photo and Pride Awards among others.
